We have made it through another busy September and I believe it was our best yet!  The students settled in very quickly on the first day and we haven’t looked back!  I want to thank all those parents who visited me to share their concerns or talk about their children; open communication between home and school is one of the keys to student success!  I also want to thank all the families who came to our Curriculum night and listened to me while I shared some highlights of the school.  It was great to see our school community come together and share with our children their school stories.  We have begun our first fundraiser for the year and we are selling magazine subscriptions to try something new.  All the money raised helps with purchasing books and materials for the classroom, funding our Gotcha prizes and supporting class trips to name but a few of the important things your money supports.  As the year continues, I encourage you to visit during our student of the month assemblies when possible and keep the lines of communication open with your child’s teacher.
